Registered Osteopath and Mummy MOT Practitioner

Maïté (pronounced ‘My-tay’) is an award-winning osteopath. She holds a Master’s degree from the University College of Osteopathy (London) as well as an MSc in Dance Science from the Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance (London).

Her particular interest in antenatal and postnatal care led her to train under Maria to become a certified Mummy MOT practitioner.  Maïté is also a certified C-section RESTORE scar specialist having trained with UK’s leading scar specialist educator Emma Holly.

She is passionate about accompanying new mums and mums to be on their journey through pregnancy and beyond. She adopts a psychologically informed approach to care and endeavours to understand each person’s unique story and context, to collaboratively create an empowering personalised treatment & management plan.

Maïté uses contemporary evidence to inform her practice and combines a range of gentle manual therapy techniques, exercise & movement analysis, education, pain management, self-care, lifestyle advice and mindfulness strategies.

Prior to becoming an osteopath, Maïté was a professional contemporary dancer and a sports massage therapist. Her passion for movement led her to train with Joanne Elphinston Movement System/ JEMS Movement ART (Analysis, Rehabilitation and Training).
